House of Cards is a political series and adaptation of the 1990's identical series to the novel by Michael Dobbs. The first season premiered in 2013 at Netflix. The story is happening in Washington D.C. about congressmen Frank Underwood and his wife Claire Underwood.

In the beginning, the series had excellent reviews, mostly thanks to a well-thought-out story as well as convincing actor Robin Wright and Kevin Spacey.

For the first five seasons, it was all about Kevin Spacey and Robin Wright, but after the sex scandal that led Kevin to the cover of numerous magazines, the producers decided to throw him out of the series.

First, it was announced that Netflix will cut out three episodes that have already been recorded and begin the sixth season with a big change. So instead of 13, only eight episodes would be shown.

Instead of Kevin Spacey, the story is now more about Robin Wright. It is assumed that Frank Pugliese and James Gibson had a difficult task to make the whole season without one of the main actors.

That is why many have agreed that the whole sixth season is wrongly set since there are ongoing problems.

For example, while in some scenes you have the feeling that they are too slow, for some you think they were too fast.
