Joseph Jason Namakaeha Momoa was born on August 1st, 1979 in Hawaii.
His mother Coni was a photographer and father Joseph was a painter.
He started his career in modelling and shortly after got his first part in the action drama series Baywatch Hawaii.
In the meantime, he majored in marine biology and afterwards switched to wildlife biology.
He also made appearances in North Shore, Johnson Family Vacation and Stargate: Atlantis.
Some of his more popular roles were in the Conan the Barbarian and Game of Thrones where he portrayed the role of Khal Drogo.
In the meantime, he also directed an co-wrote a drama thriller movie Road to Paloma.
Afterwards, Momoa took the role of Aquaman and later continued to star in an Aquaman solo movie.
Momoa also played a leading role in a Justice League and voiced his role in The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part.
He also had roles in movies like The Bad Batch, Braven, Bullet to the Head and Pipeline.
Because of his deep, powerful voice and strong physique he mostly played in roles of warriors and tough fighters.
After he portrayed the role of Khal Drogo in Game of Thrones, his popularity suddenly rose.
And of course, that was specifically among the female part of the audience.
