From my point of view, the main problem with this show was too many seasons. Because latter you can get the feeling that they repeat some things.

All in all, this show had great potential at the beginning. You can find a mix of tension and adrenaline. Not to mention that you have a love story, mastery, drama but even fun parts.

But, for the big fans, you can find two more TV show that is interwoven with the Vampire Diaries. As a matter of fact The Originals and Legacies are connected with the storyline in The Vampire Diaries.
